We cannot give prices over the phone:
In order to keep records of all price quotes, we only issue price quotes via email or through our online quote system.
We will need a picture every time we are issuing a quote:
There will be times where we request additional information such as the part numbers stamped on the units in order to offer the highest price but we will always need a picture of your units in order to price.
All prices and quotes are based on full catalytic converters:
If you send us a partial catalytic converter we will do our best to assess how much of the catalyst is missing /remaining and pay you the highest price that we can based on an estimated percentage of catalyst that is still in the unit.
When converter prices are raised:
When S.C.R.A.P. Inc. raises our prices all converters that are processed after prices are raised are processed according to the higher prices. If a customer’s converters are already shipped or even if they have arrived at our warehouse the customer will still be paid the higher prices.
When converter prices are lowered:
S.C.R.A.P. Inc. provides a 3 day grace period after prices are lowered for customers to ship their converters and still receive the higher prices. When converter prices are lowered shipments must be postmarked within this 3 day period for the higher prices to apply to that shipment.
How many units of the same kind are honored for the quote:
S.C.R.A.P. Inc. quotes converters in pictures with the understanding that we are only purchasing the converters that are shown. For example, if you upload a picture of converter(s) we are only committing to purchase the converter(s) shown in the picture at that price. If you are sending us multiple converters of the same type we will need pictures of each unit before you send them in order for the quote to be honored.
